Anay Ramakrishnan and Abeer Ramakrishnan, 8-years-old twin brothers from Nagpur have two start-ups to their name. Anay introduces his twin brother Abeer as the co-founder. “One is in traction stage and the other is still under ideation”, explains the eight-year-old as his brother also cuts in from time to time. “The first venture is not-for-profit company and the other one is a deep tech startup”, they said.
Having received Rs 5 lakh as the first lot of funding for their first venture in last two months, Anay Ramakrishnan and Abeer Ramakrishnan may be among the youngest entrepreneurs in the new age business. Their father R Ramakrishnan is an investment banker and mother Priti Ramakrishnan is an IT professional.
Before the startup twin brothers had made it to the Asia Book of Records for identifying the largest number of bird species. They also found mention in the Guinnes Book of Records for creating a prototype of a colony on Mars, says their father.
Their not-for-profit venture works for the under privileged children. They collects items like toys, clothes, books from the donors, which are given to under privileged children. The charity also calculates the carbon foot print reduced by its actions.
Immverse is a private limited firm of the twins. “We plan to immortalize people by using artificial intelligence”, says Anay. The plan is to create virtual holograms that can pop out of your devices, he said.
